Seahawks, Jaguars liked Mitchell at DB

Did Troy Brown and Edelman have any recent CB experience prior to BB putting them there?

I love this versatility, and it helps improve Mitchell's chances of being active on game days.

He's got a good quick twitch and he's long and lanky. It's no surprise that those two teams, who employ the same scheme, liked him at CB. He fits what they look for there. Belichick likes him because he's versatile but, by all reports, they're playing him at WR.

I've seen pretty much every Georgia game for years, Mitchell is a better WR than CB. Can he play CB in a pinch? sure, but don't expect the reemergence of Troy Brown. What he can do is return kicks, which would be nice to get Edelman out of that job (just to keep him healthy, I would put him back to returning kicks in the playoffs). Georgia has had a string of great backs and poor QBs. It will be interesting to see what Mitchell can do.

Plus, I think we can put the "Seattle wanted him" thing to bed after the Easley fiasco.
