Just saw a Gronk Super Bowl prediction. He made a great point which I didn't know. Yeah the Eagles have the top ranked defense in the NFL but Fangio is 0-8 vs. Patrick Mahomes. I can't imagine all of the sudden he's going to shut Kermit down.

Mahomes has more completions 392 than Hurts has passing attempts 361. Barkley cant run every Eagles offensive play. His max # of attempts this season is 31. The Eagles will burn him out trying to protect Hurts and lose.

KC is balanced - Special; Teams, Defense and Offense. All the Eagles hopes depend on Barkley which is never a good spot to be in.

Agreed, silly take. We had to hear about Montana being better until Brady had 5. Even then there was still a healthy debate. Mahomes would have literally been killed if he played in that era, he needs 5 rings as well.

I disagree that 4-0 is better than 4-1. You are literally saying it is better to lose early in the playoffs than late in the playoffs.

Montana lost his fair share of playoff games - and looked damn bad in many of them (45-3 anyone?). He just happened to play in the era of NFC dominance where the NFCCG was the real Super Bowl.

KC has no run game and certainly not against Eagles. Will allow Fangio to completely focus on pass and heavy pass rush.
Mahomes will see a lot of pressure.
Chiefs will need to focus on short passing game and long drives.

KC’s offense pretty much is the short passing game. Mahomes’ air yards have gone way down. He has basically styled himself after Brady in that regard (although Brady averaged more air yards).

In Fangio’s defense, there’s no coach in NFL history that could have taken that atrocious collection of talent and beaten KC. His QB was Drew Lock, for Pete’s sake

I didn't create the standard it's just what I witnessed with the Brady v Montana debate. All I'm asking is that everyone hold Mahomes to the same standards. For some reason everyone seems to have forgotten about Montana and Mahomes got to skip right past him even though at least for another week he still only has 3.
