holy crap, Edelman and Vereen DOMINATED the short passing game.

Barely any dropped passes in this game. So refreshing after a lot of drops in key games last year, and of course in the last SB loss to the Giants.

Our offensive style is the seahawks weakness. Matchups benefited us going into the game and it showed. The only thing keeping seattle in that game was toms turnovers and several key lapses in defense + 2 amazing catches.

Something of interest to me:

2014 was the year where Brady was finally going to have a defense that was good enough to cover for an off game by the offense.

Ravens scored 31 and Seahawks scored 24


In the end, despite the big stop by the defense in the Super Bowl, which we didn't get in 2007 or 2011 (son of a .....!), Brady still needed to have the good games because the defense wasn't sturdy enough to shut down the opponents in the postseason*.








*If anyone cites to that Colts team and game, they should be forced to become Jaguars fans.
