There is so much media hype about Hightower after only a few weeks of coaching you have to wonder who is generating the buzz and why. Are the Krafts leaking it since they are already regretting the Mayo pick?

Agree…it’s odd. Dude has coached a total of like 3 months.

What?

You creates a buzz about nothing? The Boston Sports reporters. Do you agree?

So who gets the reporters to start greatly exaggerate a situation? The reporters all sit in a circle, sing Kumbaya, and agree to hype Hightower after 3 weeks (you say 3 months)? No, I do not think so. So who is looking at Hightower and pumping him up to the reporters so they pump him up to the public? Obviously if the Kraft management is hyping Hightower the reporters would fall in line.

Who do you think is hyping the reporters with the repetitive projection of Hightower's remarkable future coaching expertise? The only source I can think of that would get the reporters excited is someone within the Pats organization.

I think there is a high probability that every team says good things about the people they hire.

Agreed. Teams say a lot of good things about their employees.

Show me teams that hype a 3 week old coach as a "slam dunk" future head coach. Go ahead, find one example. It is wierd.

Same hype machine that for years was pimping up Mayo's behind the scenes work, that nobody could see, but later justified his eventual hiring for the top gig.

Why do folks think that Anderson is making the 53. Onwenu is an option at RT. It really is that simple.
Anderson is a Swing Tackle. Yes, the Pats also have Okorafor there.

Anderson could be a prime candidate to be brought back for the PS since he has starting experience.

When was the last time the Pats carried only 3 OTs on the 53 outside of late in 2015 when they had all those injuries?

That was the Kraft organization doing the behind the scenes work with Mayo, so is it the same crowd hyping Hightower.

I am not sure what they do really. There is a world where Onwenu goes to RT, Okorafor back to LT, which probably improves the tackle situation overall but isn’t the best use of either guy and then you’re probably putting in Robinson or Leverett at LG. Not everyone is playing in their “best spot” but would it be the “best 5”? Maybe.

Assuming they keep the line the way it is, the backups at tackle would be Wallace and Anderson - it seems like only Wallace would be a bit tough if you couldn’t put Anderson on the PS.
