Sashimi looking for a HC....

Good post. I agree 100% . Im a Coughlin fan but he was done after 2013. He hung around a year too late. Reese has been plain ole bad these past two years as well. Has only OBJ to show for it and anyone could have made that pick.

Josh would be best served going to TN. Not sure how well Mariota would handle JMDs offense.
Agree that the drafting recently for NYG hasn't been great.

One idea for TN, if Josh thinks he can craft an offense that uses Mariota well, would be to trade out of the top pick for a nice little bounty and be able to stock up on new pieces he needs to run his system. Green-Beckham and Wright have potential at WR. It's not the worst situation.

I'd pay top dollar to see Eli attempt to learn McDaniel's playbook...

You can't hold all of the offenses he coached against him? Really. So Marvin Lewis is just as good as BB because you can't hold having teams that can't win playoff games against him?

Tell me what Daboll has done that makes him good? Isn't a coordinator supposed to make the unit good by coaching and developing the talent?

You are comparing Bill to Marvin Lewis. Once coach picks the groceries the other doesn't.

Josh was a disaster running the offenses at DEN and STL and I dont think he sucks as he has been proven to be good with solid talent executing his offense.

The same cannot be said for Daboll.

TN needs defense, defense and more defense.

Philly might be a good place for McDaniels.

Sproles on 3rd down then you have Murray in a more comfortable position of not running exclusively out of Shotgun and on the option. Decent group of young receivers and a QB who has had his playbook before in the past.

Bradford sucked at running his offense in STL.

Howie Roseman is a power-hungry, divisive, back-stabber

Not happening.

Please let McDaniels go to the Giants.

Nothing would make me laugh more than continuous draw plays for Vereen while he's got Beckham and Cruz wide...

No I am comparing success to failure.
You dismiss Daboll failing as an OC by blaming it on players, so why can't I dismiss Lewis failing as a HC by blaming players?

Show me what Daboll has done.
McD had a good offense in Denver, with Kyle freaking Orton, and was only in St Louis for 1 year.
Of course he has many successes too.

Daboll has basically sucked everywhere and has no successes. Awful comparison, unless you are trying to say every coach is good because BB had a losing season once.

Success has a few levels. While Lewis has absolutely sucked in the playoffs. He has made the playoffs. I wouldn't call his failure complete.

Go back and look at the talent Daboll had to work with at QB. Pathetic.

Josh got 6 good games out of Orton and in 09 ave the same # of points per game as Daboll's cappy 2010 Fins team w Matt Moore. Orton was a very average Qb and would have been the best of the bunch Daboll had.

....and JMD sucked in DEN and in STL w/ awful Sam Bradford.

Remove Josh's stints with NE I really don't see much of a difference in their resumes as an OC.

So we compare a successful coach with a failure and say if you remove the successes they are the same? LOL

After DEN and STL Josh was lucky to get a job at Wal Mart as a greeter. You fail to acknowledge that.

If BB thought Daboll was trash he wouldn't be here. Just like Josh.

Josh has to stay because Tom wants him here.

Orton threw for 3800 yards in McDs first season, and 3600 more in part of a second. Broncos were an average offense, actually above average. They were the worst defense in the NFL the second year.

He was just as good with BUF in 2014.

Not sure what your point is.
Perhaps rather than picking nits over McD in Denver while dismissing his success you could offer something good about Daboll since he is the topic.

Why did you bring up Orton? He was ok in DEN w/ Josh and ok in Bug w/o Josh. That means Orton is his own man and Josh doesn't have the magical ability to make chicken salad out of chix ****. Hes a good Qb that does a good job with the talent he has.

In 2011 Daboll's offense scored over 20 ppg in MIA with a 1/2 way competent Matt Moore and decent talent such as Reggie Bush and Brandon Marshall. Not great but not pathetic.

We disagree on Josh and Daboll's ability. Moving on.

Will they wait until the playoffs are over, or are we getting one of those infamous interruptions during game prep week? For both of the coordinators to have to prep and do an interview while also responsible for preparing for three teams just isn't right.

If I were Miami, I'd tell them they have to interview immediately to stay in the running, just to mess with the Pats.

We should move on because this will go nowhere.
McDaniels has had success Daboll has only failed at every chance.

How is scoring 20ppg w/ Matt Moore a failure when scoring 20ppg w/ Kyle Orton success?

When did I say THAT was McD success?
If McDs entire career was 2009-2011 in Denver and St Louis I would say he has had no success either.
