The worst part will be having to hear from Bill Polian.

LOL One of his many favorite comebacks over the years has been time of posession doesn't mean squat...I think Dungy finally tuned him out this season after working his way up to it last season. Didn't really need Marvin and Reggie tonight as anything more than decoys to keep the Bears from stacking the box.

This was a ugly game which should have given the Bears an edge, but Grossman is so inept that once Benson went down it was OVAH. But the Colts won fair and square without any assistance from their stripped 12th man - who would have been one of the few Colts supporters in attendance (what is up with that - tough times in the heartland?).

Why is a former Dolphin HC parading in the trophy and handing it to the Colts? Bizarre.

Ryan and all the Colts fans deserve a tip of the hat... they were, in some ways, the NFL's version of the Red Sox - excrutiatingly close, having consistently good teams but just could never find the way to win the big game.

Well all that's over - Manning and the Colts get to join a pretty exclusive fraternity of those who have SB rings in the Salary Cap era.

IMO the Patriots are still in another class - with 3 rings in 5 years (and, if not for any one play against the Colts, probably would have had 4 in 6, but that's football - every SB ring is usually won or lost on one play)

But that just gives the Colts something to shoot for now - in any event, all those past chokes are now largely erased - just as 86 years of frustration for the Red Sox are balanced by the World Series.

Enjoy being the Champions Colts, Colts fans, and especially Ryan, who remained loyal and enthusiastic year after choke filled year.

I'm kinda happy for you Ryan as you are a loyal fan.

I've never seen you post anything bashing the Colts or it's player or coaches. Last year you did call Manning a choker when they lost to the Steelers, but that was the only time that I can remember.

I appreciate loyal fans who do not try to have their personal egos stroked at the expense of the team they say that they support.

So I guess if I'm feeling happy for any Colts fan, it's you.

But, as you can tell from my avatar and sig, I'm not very fond of the Colts.
