Confirms my theory: BSPN sees the story has peaked, they want to get out their judgmental "halo" piece before the story goes totally cold.

Offering up her "coconspirator" as her next alibi, after coordinating with this alibi, was her desperation Hail Mary attempt.

Not to forget, she deployed the "gender card" when the Atlantic stopped buying what she was selling.

Vrabel's career will be fine. This will go away in time. Not sure about his marriage but that is another issue.

In this low attention span society this thing will die on the vine and be replaced with something even more scandalous.

My pet theory is that the two of them have genuine feelings for each other, which complicates the matter because either one coming clean could hurt the other, which they don’t want to do.

We know they’ve known each other for quite some time and have had a rapport with each other. This isn’t some rando he ran into at a bar and took back to his hotel room.

Yes. As stupid as I think deflategate is, there is a world of difference in the jurisdiction the NFL has over enforcing rules on the actually football procedures used for a football game and monitoring the sex life of a coach with a none NFL employee

The fact that Russini couldn't provide any communications with her friends planning this trip, couldn't provide pictures or receipts confirming she was with anybody but Vrabel, and couldn't get a single one of these alleged friends to speak up and corroborate her story says pretty much all you need to know.

The media that broke the story was going to kill it if she could corroborate her lie. Her employer was going to keep her if she could corroborate her lie.

She had way too much to lose to not do everything possible to show that her story of being there with friends was true. Which means it wasn't.

So the next logical question is.... if it's innocent, why would you tell an elaborate lie you can't back up? Once you make up a story to cover something up, you effectively lost the benefit of the doubt.

Thoughts:

1.) Vrabel did drive up there with a friend.

2.) if I were with a group of people…I’d not take photos outside of a group photo. So maybe none of them have random photos.

3.) Also, maybe none of them really wants to get involved. Vrabes said he wasn’t gonna justify this with a response….that might have shut things down.

Hard to say….. these were really sneaky photos…both were completely unaware that photos were taken the closest one is of Vrabes walking pool side….looks like the photographer was laying at the pool and took a photo. And there weren’t any BETTER or more INCRIMINATING photos…I also find that curious as well.

At the end of the day…this is between Mike and Jen (shrugs) and Dianna better hope she can find another gig…I think she is done with pro football….fair or not.

They said a group of friends, not a group of people. And, if so, one has to question the nature of that friendship given than none of them were willing to step forward and save Russini's career. Or, more likely, it was imaginary friends.
