Although I Personally don't have a problem with running up the score, my question to the originial poster is did the 1972 Dolphins ran up the score every week, was it constant or just in this one incident?

'72 phins ran it up only a few times that season if I recall correctly, as they weren't that great despite going undefeated.

Of course not - the Dolphins were not dominant on offense and struggled to win a number of their games, let alone blow teams out.

So, like the Patriots, they ran it up when they could.

The other point (since I didn't provide any commentary) was that they did it to us. I think you can figure out the irony now?

Don't tell Dennis and Callahan will go into their soccer mom pink hat rant again...
