i heard something on the radio and reported it here. i reported it as a rumor. i believe we will keep cassel. if people want to tell me im a moron for saying that, thats ok. i have never spoken in facts aroudn here when it comes to potential moves. but, i do use logic. and as you tried to tell my brother, that it is not simple logic that the patriots will keep cassel if brady has indeed suffered an incident, you are wrong yet again. based on information we have or beleive to be true we reach inferences and make deductions. making sure that i am correct, here is the definition of LOGIC 1. the science that investigates the principles governing correct or reliable inference.
so what my brother said about logic, how if brady is hurt, he used logic to come to an inference, HE IS 100% right. so whos wrong? not him. but you. yet you are the one calling people idiots and morons. yet you dont even know what logic is.
so to repeat my belief and my brothers belief...
i quote..."It's not that its fact. Its simple logic. If your starter isnt healthy and you have a proven stud backup, you keep him."
people dont know that logic isnt reaching a fact. its reaching a conclusion based on information. the conclusion doesnt have to necessarily true, but the information leads you in that direction.

i heard Mike Francessa say on WFAN 660AM in NY yesterday that Brady suffered a setback and it was really bad for the NFL. I was called a liar, an exaggerator, a jerk, a dumby, stupid, etc. thats basically it

Wait! Didn't your original post say that Francesca didn't say what the set back was or how severe? How is it now "really bad for the NFL"?
You may think that you use logic, but you purposely ignore salient facts. Making your conclusions less than logical.

Billdog3484 simply stated what was said on the radio by a broadcaster. Then you proceeded to attack him as if the words were his own. If you attacked the broadcaster that would make sence, but attacking Billdog3484 is weak.
ps. The broadcaster is completly correct by saying Brady not playing is bad for the league
It is clear to me now, that there is no way we are letting Cassel walk.
They say he did play - which is pretty good news IMO, hitting a drive puts a solid sideways bend on the knee.Ok, head on over to TMZ and they have a report of him playing golf on Sunday with a crappy picture (I have a better one )
Anyway - While playing golf is obviously NOT like playing football, there is a certain amount of pressure placed both legs and knees (including turning thru the shot) - I'm NOT getting into a fight with anyone about this, talk with Tiger Woods about the damage that golf can do to a knee - but this is good news.
Tom Brady Putts - TMZ.com
Deus, at least 3 people, have openly stated they heard the same thing. I never stated how severe it was or even how severe i thought it was.
He gave out an (at the time) unsupported claim of injury and then made an assertion about it.
Ok, now you're not even bothering to read the posts you respond to:
and for the record, let me just say this. I wish more than ANYTHING that Brady is 100% and the Patriots are so confident that he will be ok that we can trade Cassel and get great value in a trade for him. I am just not optimistic about this.
If Matt Cassel's value is as high as some sports people claim
(mid round first plus a second), Matt will be franchised and traded
regardless of Tom Brady's condition. Cassel's trade value may
never be higher.
It is clear to me now, that there is no way we are letting Cassel walk. I said it a few weeks ago and got ripped apart, but if this is true, it is obvious Cassel will be on our roster.
i was responding to the portion which you stated i didnt verify what i wrote. how am i going to verify a 30 sec clip on a radio station. i dont tape record the show. the fact that I cant find a secondary source, what is the difference considering I never said what francessa said was true. I just repeated what he said. and what is the difference if it was said on rotoworld or rotowire or profootball talk. those are sites which report what they hear, Just as I did.
