Player Signing Romeo Doubs Signs

Some of these contracts are really well done by Wolf or whoever is creating the contract, AVTs contract with the per game roster bonus being pretty significant saves them against injury. AVT is also essentially a 2/28Mwith an out after 2028 with 2.4M dead cap.

Wolf is doing the contracts. Marcus Jones talked about that after signing his new deal. I think Vrabel makes decisions on who they are keeping, going after, or letting go, And I think he's doing that in consultation with Wolf, Cowden, and Streicher, but I'm pretty sure Wolf is dealing with the structure and details and making the deal. And I grew that he's doing a good job structuring these deals.

I like these incentives on the Doubs contract.

So it is a $17M per year deal that becomes a $20M per year deal if he’s an 80 catch/1200 yard receiver - which I doubt any of us would be complaining about.

With a relatively low signing bonus and the guaranteed money all in the first two years, if he’s not a “hit” after two seasons, they will be able to very cheaply and easily cut bait.

He's not.
He's presenting the contracts to the agents but he is not writing them.
Hope this helps.

Beyond what Marcus Jones said about negotiating his deal with Wolf what I was able to find online was that Wolf writes the contracts with help from Matt Groh and Richard Miller.

Where are you getting your information? Marcus Jones said he negotiated the deal with Wolf.
Two people who, unless they're lying to me for absolutely no reason, absolutely know who's writing the contracts, and how the actual hierarchy of the front office works.

Wolf is front-facing, and the rest of the front office is very pleased with the arrangement.

That would mean that Marcus Jones was lying about who he negotiated his deal with, but two guys you know have it right.

Sorry Tommy, I have a lot of respect for you as a poster here, but if I gave you the same answer you wouldn't buy it.

The fact of the matter is that all available evidence has Wolf doing contracts, with help from Matt Groh, and there is nothing anywhere that says anything different.
