Why can’t AVP use rollouts with JB. Seems like a good strategy with a bad OL.
Rodgers roll outs last night were hard to defend.
Also hope Maye can learn to roll out and not just stand like a statue in a collapsing pocket.

Did you happen to notice how Rodgers throws when he's rolling out, VS how Brissett does?

I think we eventually see rollouts with Maye but JB looks rough throwing on the run.

Maybe because Jacoby looks like Cam Newton when throwing on the run?

I think Jacoby has regressed a bit in his career ... it happens ... he is not calm-cool-collected at all.

Based on what we have seen so far: this could be Brissett's last year in the League. Zappe looked better as a backup and that's not an endorsement.

Call me insane but I'm not totally sure what JB has done that Zappe couldn't i.e. did we need JB as a bridge?
I think fair enough point. Only thing I am not sure is if zappe could have withstood all these hits without going into IR game 2 or game 3.

At this point Jacoby is getting paid to absorb all the hits till game 7 or game 8.

If I am Jacoby I would want to get an injury that allows me to be done for the season after game 4 so that I can collect my check and preserve my body for couple more seasons.

I am just thinking if AVP game plans are not taking into consideration our fragile O-line.

When you look back I think amongst last 3 years , it was Patricia's offense which had some teeth . Both Bob and AVP underwhelm as compared to Matt and that's saying a lot..

I mean he is as calm-cool-collected as I could hope for given the pass “protection”.

With this O-line, I'd be inclined to see J Milton run around back there. Instead of reading the secondary, we need a guy who can read his own line and figure out where to run when it caves in. I'm kidding, but not sure how much at this point. I just watched a segment on how dominant rookie LT Joe Alt is, a guy we could have had instead of Maye.

Yup, kinda feels like he's being given an $8,000,000 retirement fund i.e. take all the hits, and then hit the beach - hopefully he can walk there.

I hope the future with Drake Maye includes the potential to roll out and move around in the pocket. Standing in one spot every play is inviting constant pressure and sacks.
