RIP old friend, poster KennethSimms passes

I couldn't agree more. This board became a lifeline to Brian, me and many others. And I will be forever grateful. Ian, thank you for keeping this going at great personal cost and sacrifice.
The more the years have gone on, the more it's been just an honor to me to have met so many terrific people like you guys who have spent time here and have made this place what it is. When I was younger, it was tough because you get so caught up in everyday life, family, trying to get through each day, etc., that it goes by so fast. Now I definitely look at things differently, and the fact that I've even been able to be a part of the lives of so many amazing people is incredibly humbling. And it's moments like this where I'm reminded of how incredible this community is.

I'm unbelievably lucky and absolutely grateful to everybody.

Ian, I don't post very much but I visit the board at least once a day to catch up on everything Patriots. Thank you for all your hard work.

My thoughts go out to Ken’s friends and family. I was a big SIMMs fan.

I’ll tell you a story I heard, can’t remember if it was pre or post draft. But when he was in high school, he was doing a sled drill. His coach accused him of being lazy with the drill. Next time he hit the sled, he broke it. Rest easy big, powerful Kenneth SIMMs.

My sympathies out to all who were close to Brian.
I remember him posting and the several different folks over the years who reached out for help through this board.
A great testament to this community that (to my limited knowledge) ALLof them got help, but even More so that they felt comfortable REACHING OUT HERE!!

Again a laud on Ian and all of you who did the selfless and gave of your time. Kudos.

I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s awful to lose a friend.

Take solace that he is at peace now. Soon the great memories will outweigh the pain.

Terribly sorry to hear this. How fortunate to cross paths with someone so special who also supports this great team over the years!

Here for you and anyone who winds up here in Maine who needs a hand or ear in life, or just simply a Pats viewing buddy.
