RIP Hank Aaron

When you look at Hank Aaron's year by year numbers it is truly amazing. Keep in mind this was when the pitching mounds were higher, you could throw chin music without getting a warning or ejection from the umpire, and ERAs were under 2.00.

Amazing consistency right up until he hit age 40. He led the league in slugging, OPS and intentional walks - at age 37! Hit for power, hit for average, speed (nine straight years with 15+ stolen bases, eight times in top ten - including 28 at age 34!), plus a gold glove outfielder.

Incredible.
