I mean that would be like the Dream Team..like the '86 Celtics(if Lenny B had lived to play). Man!! handing all that to Bill Belichick would just be unfair.

he IS a pothead, he doesn't like crowds, and he's freaky. i don't think that's gonna change.
bringing him and randy moss in, in the same season, just might be asking too much. of the team culture.
BUT
he's a 1200 yard RB. we don't know if maroney is or not.

does anyone here remember dave cowens quitting the celtics and driving a cab in boston for about 6 months?

** I saw this thread and said NOOOOOOO-no more! I'd never read a sports column again if we took him on top of Moss,Stallworth and Meriweather. News of the New England Patriots signing Ricky Williams would be the shock heard round the world. Just the very thought of the media on this story makes me cringe. We'd be buried in slop. But can you imagine if they all succeeded here? That would take the NFL by the nads. Having 4 players of "questionable" character come to NE,stay straight off the field and then go on to win a SB has to be an unprecedented accomplishment. Stock through the roof.
On the field- He could be an asset. I pictured Williams with LoMo then grabbed a bib.
