I hope Mehta's report is incorrect or incomplete. Not having any draft picks involved in the penalty, even 6th or 7th round picks, goes against the precedent of prior tampering penalties.

If it's just a monetary fine, Goodell might as well conclude his comments on this penalty with "Go Jets!"
