it's extemporaneous speech. I read "as much as they can" as a POSITIVE statement. You see something lurking behind it as if they can't REALLY 100% make him feel at home..because there's some bad thing in the background keeping them back.

we'll find out soon enough when camp starts up. if there's anything there it will show up in the press the first week.

I think if all of our players were 100% behind him, he would not have said "as much as they can". That being said, I don't want to argue with you, I just found it interesting is all.

I'm not normally one to try to find deeper meaning into what someone says. I just found it odd that he would he would add "as much as they can".

Normally most players to a new team would just say something like 'they're good people and make me feel like one of them', or instead of the original quote say something like "Everybody here as accepted me... to make me feel like at home". But he didn't, he chose to add "as much as they can".

And you're wrong, my response wasn't hatred. I like Revis, always have. I was just wondering why he would add the phrase "as much as they can".

He's a former Jet, it was probably a joke. I'd have to listen to him say it to know.

Either that or it meets our need to try to find a hidden meaning in everything.... kind of like playing Beatles records backwards for some hidden messages...
