Report: Rest of NFL Scared of Tom Brady

The rest if the NFL* is scared?

Good!

**** the NFL* !

If Bolden doesn't drop a would-be TD pass, if Gost doesn't miss a FG, if QB3 doesn't run so stiffly upright that a month old infant could have knocked the ball loose, nobody is whining about the defense. The New England Patriots defense is the #4 defense in the NFL. You are *****ing about the defense in a game where they allowed only 16 points, as if they were supposed to be perfect.

The offense was 1 for 12 on third down, committed the game's only turnover, and scored 0 points. Along with a returner who repeatedly screwed the pooch, that's the story of the game.

In case you wonder why I don't usually respond to you, it's because I have you on ignore. For some reason I clicked the wrong button this time and read your nonsense. To blame the offense and not place any responsibility on the D is foolish. Did Belichick single out and praise the D as having only given up 16 points despite the circumstances? No, he said the whole team was bad - offense, STs and defense.

You don't get perfect games out of offenses, or defenses, so talking about not placing any responsibility is a non-starter. In any win, or any loss, you'll always have something you can look at as an imperfection. However, in regards to the specific game, unless the defense pitched a shutout, the Patriots were going to lose the game. The fact that you're whining about the team's first/only points allowed in the first quarter of a game this season should have told you you were reaching in your argument. That doesn't mean that the defense didn't have issues, but it means your argument was poor.

Could the defense have been better? Yes., but that was not the reason we lost. We lost because we had an injured qb that bills did not have to respect .
