Report: Brady tried to push Belichick out for Bill O'Brien

LOL!! I see you're still butthurt from yesterday where I proved you wrong over and over... Andy, stupid people like you make this forum so much more interesting. It just wouldn't be as fun if we didn't have you serving as a combination mascot/jester to push around regularly.....

If you had any sense of objectivity, you would know that it was Bill's defenses that won at least half of Tommy's NE super bowls...

Gee, if that was true, you'd think he would have at least 2 playoff wins over an 8 year period without Tommy...

But seriously..... if every NFL game was decided randomly by a coin toss, you would expect to have 2 playoff wins over an 8 year period. Belichick without Brady has 1. He is literally doing worse than he would do if it was all simply random.....

Those defenses gave Brady all 3 of his losses.

Not really. Brady's offense scored a whopping 14 points in SB 42 and 17 points in SB 46. The defense allowed fluke plays down the stretch to Eli, but if Brady showed up the rest of the game those plays wouldn't have mattered. We are talking about the greatest offense in the history of the league up to that time in SB 42 - you can't score only 14 points and then blame it on the D. And I agree that it was the defense mainly responsible for SB 52, but Brady did have the ball with 2 minutes left in the game when all he needed was a touchdown.

SB 42 stats: 266 yards, 1 TD

SB 46 stats: 276 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT (and don't forget about Brady giving away 9 points to the Giants from the safety and ensuing TD).

I don't understand why you are on this board if all you do is trash the Pats' current head coach. I can understand criticizing him for roster moves and coaching decisions but you do nothing but compare Bill and Brady, like it makes you feel better or something. In any event, Bill is owed a few more years to do something with Mac. He didn't have the quarterback needed to win playoff games in Cleveland. Now he has one.

In both Giants games Brady left the field giving his team the lead and the defense blew it both times. Brady did his job. The defense did not. We're also talking about stopping Eli Manning and Nick Foles not Peyton Manning.

In both Giants games, some of the lowest scoring Super Bowls in history, the Patriots offense had the games only turnovers and scored 14 and 15 points. What happened in the final seconds of any game is not what determined the outcome of that game, you don't dismiss all the opportunities that came before.

The Patriots needed a single field goal in the second half to beat the Titans in 2019 to move on in the playoffs... they couldn't get in field goal range... for an entire half of football. Did Brady do his job?

It's a team game.

And PS this report about Brady wanting BB gone is about as realistic as Seth Wicker-sham's assertion that Tom wanted all of his teammates to call him "sir" and that he locked JimmyG out of the TB12 Center at Gillette.... it's soap opera garbage fiction.

Yup.

In Tom's "retirement" they both made their true feelings public.

Ultimate respect for each other and knew neither would be who they are legacy wise without each other

No he didn't. Brady faced two of the worst defenses to ever play in a super bowl and didn't score enough points. We're not talking 85' Bears here. Your "job" as a QB is not to be invisible for 90% of the game and show up at the end. Sorry.

And what's your excuse for SB 52 when Brady had the ball with 2 minutes left and choked it away?

If you have a problem with my posts, STFU and put me on ignore. Otherwise, too f’ing bad.

Funny to see the guy who does nothing but trash Brady act like a whiny little b*tch when someone points out the truth about Belichick.

LOL…. Yeah…. “Bill is owed a few more years” but Brady should be lambasted for failing for win a Super Bowl this past season.

I don't have a problem with your posts other than the usual stupidity, but it seems like to me you posting here is a colossal waste of time for you. Your heart is not with NE but with Tommy. That's not real fandom.

And if you had half a brain, you'd realize what a difficult job it is to rebuild a team into a contender. Bill didn't have the luxury of going to a talented team and bring along a few more pieces to win a title. Bill had to almost start from scratch.

Tom Brady inherited a team and HC that was 5-13 under the previous QB. They won the Super Bowl later that very same year.

Then he inherited a team that was 7-9 the previous season. He won a Super Bowl his first year there.

I love how triggered you get when all I do is point out history and fact. Funny how rebuilding teams takes some guys longer than others.....

Football is a 60 minute game. The fact is Brady left the field in both Giants games taking the lead. The defense got punked twice by Eli Manning.

Brady didn't do anything of the kind in SB52. That loss was 100% on Bill and it's been discussed over and over again why.

What for? Asking a tough question?

NFL Network took him off the Pats beat after repeatedly asking BB questions during BB's famous, "We're on to Cinncinnati" presser....

Anyway, this BOB for Belichick story is bull$hit....

Yes it is. Players have to show up for the ENTIRE game. Brady himself said that he was not able to decipher the Giants blitz schemes. That's on Brady. The defense gave up TDs at the last minute to the Giants because they made superhuman (once in a lifetime) plays. Eli to Manningham was the greatest throw and catch I have ever seen. The defense played it perfectly. Tommy's defenses kept the Giants at bay (especially in 42 when the D gave up 35 points to the Giants in the regular season), but could not hold because the offense didn't do much.

As far SB 52 is concerned, the loss was more on Bill but not 100%. The fact is Brady made two of the biggest mistakes in his SB career by fumbling the ball with the game on the line and dropping a pass that hit him on the hands.

By my count, I have Bill's defenses being more responsible for 4 out of 6 Patriots super bowls.

The truth is that there aren't Bucs fans there. It's made up mostly of Patriot castaways who were forced to go there to read about Tom Brady.
Luckily we can talk about Shaq Mason, Von Miller, Baker Mayfield, Deshaun Watson, JC Jackson, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson and Allen Robinson but not Brady on the main forum. And that's just page 1.

Of course Brady didn't do it alone. At first he had a lot of help from the defensive players that were drafted before Belichick arrived. The second run came when Brady won in spite of some poor drafts.

I pay to see players on the field, not coaches on the sidelines or owners in their box. You should try it.

I’m a Patriots fan, I follow them good or bad, and since Belichick arrived they have been the greatest dynasty in NFL history, and one of the greatest Dynasty’s I all of sports. They got their because Belichick drafted Brady, coached him up, and built great teams around him. I respect everything that the Patriots, guided by the GOAT coach and GOAT accomplished, with the help of evreryone involved in those dynasty’s, you should try it some time.

This is a forum for Patriots fans to talk about the Patriots, not to obsess over players who left years ago. You have a forum dedicated specifically to talk about Brady, you and every other fan who want to keep talking about Brady should stick to it, that’s why it’s there.

This thread was literally created by a Team Bill forum member lol All the Brady fans stick to the sub forum unless a topic is created that has to do about Tom. Blame the topic creator

It's not about Bill being a bad coach. Nobody said he was. It's that he's JUST a coach.

Do you think the report that this thread is based on is true, that Brady tried to push Belichick out?

********, you just said that Kraft bet on the wrong guy, and you and the other Bucs fans have been sh.ttimg all over Belichick for years now.
