Better than Blue or The 3rd? Really? I've only seen him play a few times in the past couple of years and I don't remember anything impressive. I'm more inclined to agree with Box, if signed at all, primarily camp fodder.

i said maybe..i only watched him once a full game really..against texans where i believe he picked a ball but looking at stats..4 ints consecutive seasons till last where he had 1. i dont know..veteran leadership? got hands maybe?

If I remember correctly, he was pretty good for the Chiefs was he not? I'd love this signing. One of the big things I want is depth for this secondary, that'd be damn good depth.

Unless you look at it from the glass half empty side and conclude that he was part of the problem.

and part of problem was the pass rush they put out there. look at us without blitzing or getting to the QB..torched by so many QBs

I liked what I saw out of Hobbs. I think he'll be here for awhile. He just has to get his ****iness in check.

i like what i saw from hobbs aswell..after 1st season..he's definatley top of the CB draft class so far along with Foxworth and Darrent Williams aswell as Carlos Rogers. He has to concentrate a little more. I remember when he was strappign his chin pad on line of scrimmage against Dante Hall.."go" Dante gets him off guard 50+ yard TD

but after that he came out really well.

Warfield clarification

The Patriots did not host cornerback Eric Warfield on a free-agent visit, but the sides did speak to each other about the possibility of Warfield joining the team.

The clarification was made by agent Craig Domann, who represents Warfield. Domann said the conversation was set up because the Patriots' brass was in Orlando for the NFL owners meetings.

An official in Domann's office provided incorrect information earlier in the day that Warfield had visited the Patriots.
