I've only seen him play a few times in the past couple of years and I don't remember anything impressive. I'm more inclined to agree with Box, if signed at all, primarily camp fodder.Remix 6 said:read that he got a call but didnt have a meeting yet. i guess he would be better than Scott at nickel .. possibly better than Gay/Hobbs
Is that a bad joke related to 3 alleged DUIs that were mentioned on the other thread that went bye bye?PATSNUTme said:He's coming up here so he can have some Samuel Adams and take a cruise on 128.

Unless you look at it from the glass half empty side and conclude that he was part of the problem.MrTibbs said:His stats look great and the Chiefs as a team have always had a piss porro defense so I can only see Warfield being as good or better in the Patriots system.

Warfield clarification
The Patriots did not host cornerback Eric Warfield on a free-agent visit, but the sides did speak to each other about the possibility of Warfield joining the team.
The clarification was made by agent Craig Domann, who represents Warfield. Domann said the conversation was set up because the Patriots' brass was in Orlando for the NFL owners meetings.
An official in Domann's office provided incorrect information earlier in the day that Warfield had visited the Patriots.
