Push off by Thurmond on the pick 6 was more important.
tbh, I felt that DA slowed down just before Thurmond put his hands on him. It still could have been called as he did place both hands on him but DA had kind of already given up on that ball due to the traffic in there, I don't he thought Brady would force it in there. Not as clear cut as when I saw the play live.

Thurmond pushing DA before the ball gets there is what dictates it should be PI regardless of whether DA gave up. When I watched it again, I think the shove definitely helped put DA out of position to make the catch. Maybe he misses it still but doesn't get tipped up.
 
When watching the game I saw it, but wondered if it was just that Peters had managed to time the snap near perfectly. So it looked like he went before because he went right at the snap But when watching the gifs several times it's easy to see that no, he moves before the snap, a lot.

We've seen how teams take away Chandler Jones by huging him since his rookie season. I guess this is a new way of making him ineffective.

This is absolutely not why we lost. But when a team has a habit of moving slightly before the snap they should get flagged for it so they stop doing it. As someone else said. It's not like we would get 10 more flags. After two times or so the team would see that they can't continue doing it, and they would stop.
