I saw Landry more in the mold of Leonard than Smith. Neither will do much in coverage. Maybe that's why BB is stocking up on WRs. I think 4million is too much unless it has an injury clause

Leonhard was/is a better coverage safety than Smith. Which, in a nutshell, explains the Jets' safety woes, in much the same way that Chung being our best cover safety (with McCourty back at CB) explains ours.

As I said before Barron does inspire my confidence................perhaps BB feels the same by passing on Landry......Barron possesses instincts and ball-skills which make him more versatile which helps us more I feel.

But if healthy, I must say Landry is a difference maker at SS, just not in coverage assignments
