Alright, so the record for most players to score a TD in a single season was 21 players. This was accomplished by a really good team (the 2007 Pats) and a really bad team (a post Elway Broncos team).
Halfway through the season the Pats have had 16 different players score thus far (list below).
While it will be tough, they have a chance to add 5 more to the list. The five most likeliest to score (that haven't scored already) might be M.Sanu, B.Watson, N.Harry, J.Meyers, and one more defensive TD. (Or does Elandon Roberts get one while playing fullback?)
Clearly this record means absolutely nothing, but it's a fun thing to perhaps keep in mind as you watch the games.
Scoring thus far for the Pats this season are (in no particular order)..............
1.) Tom Brady
2.) Julian Edelman
3.) Phillip Dorsett
4.) Josh Gordon
5.) Antonio Brown
6.) Sony Michel
7.) Rex Burkehead
8.) Brandon Bolden
9.) Ryan Izzo
10.) James White
11.) Stephone Gillmore
12.) Chase Winovich
13.) Matthew Slater
14.) Dont'a Hightower
15.) Jamie Collins
16.) Kyle Van Noy
17.) Mohammed Sanu (Game 9 edit)
