Reasons to hate the Chiefs...here is one

I don't like team nicknames that can't be applied to the players individually. "He's a Patriot," you can't say "He's a Heat," etc.

I personally have no problem with the current Native American-derived nicknames for teams. I guess I can see why some people might not like Redskins or Indians, but names like Chiefs and Braves seem pretty benign.

The problem isnt the name, it's the costumes and getups that accompany the name that are offensive. And this isn't me "trying to find something to be offended by" I'm speaking as someone whose girlfriend is 100% native american and from a very racist Canadian city

I don't hate the Chiefs. Their players and coaches put forth a high level of competition, and play a disciplined game within the rules. To me, they seem like a good bunch who for the most part say and do the right things. I find this respect for the opposition in no way diminishes my desire to crush them on Saturday.

you do realize that you come across as trying to be holier than the holier than thou PC high-horseism? People being butthurt about people trying to be PC are just as butthurt as people who are butthurt about how people should be more PC.
