I just watched highlights of the interview and Lewis said that he deserves to have players whose job it is to make him look good.
I love it when newbies create news and stories.

Just leave the dancing in Baltimore and I wouldn't have a problem with him coming here. It's about team not showtime individuality.

Tell that to Ellis "I just tipped a ball so I better dance" Hobbs.

I saw an interview with Lewis on NFL Network this winter where Lewis specifically said he doesn't want to play in a 3-4 because it doesn't let him play football the way he likes. He said he wants four guys in front of him and the entire middle of the field to himself so he can run to either sideline, not just the side of a 3-4 he's supposed to cover.

Besides, the Ravens would never ship him here since they see themselves as a playoff contender and wouldn't want to help a team in their conference or face Lewis anywhere but in a SB.

If he's traded I'd say AZ would be the prime landing spot.

Ravens | R. Lewis not endorsing Billick
Fri, 21 Apr 2006 07:18:20 -0700
Jamison Hensley, of the Baltimore Sun, reports Baltimore Ravens LB Ray Lewis declined to give Ravens head coach Brian Billick a vote of confidence during a television interview Wednesday, April 20. In an interview with Comcast SportsNet, Lewis was asked if keeping Billick was a move in the right direction for the Ravens. Lewis paused before responding with "no comment." In another interview with ESPN, Lewis criticized the team for not providing him with two big defensive tackles that could shield him from blockers. Lewis also told ESPN that he has never asked for a trade from team. "The issue is: Are you going to let me do what I do?" Lewis said after mentioning he sees other linebackers having the opportunity to run free to make the tackle. "And if not, let me go."
Boo-hooo. Poor Ray. He should pull a Lord Favre and tell the Ravens that he might retire if they don't draft two huge DTs that meet his expectations.

glad this is getting people fired up...that was the most ridiculous interview ever.

He "needs help to show his dominance" -- WTF!

Show your stupid dominance by taking on a block and shedding it and making a tackle instead of dancing around after an assist like you accomplished something all by yourself you overrated fairy.

Why don't you tell us how you really feel.

I say draft a young Monster named Justin Huggard out of VMI. He plays like Ray Lewis, lead his conference in tackles, and would actually be gratefull for a chance to play in the greatest sport on the planet. Instead of dancing!
Is he a Sr??? Totally under the radar...haven't seen anything about him..on any draft board..
