I honestly can't even imagine what cop looks at that and doesn't put the cuffs on him! Look its the easiest case to prove. Usually its hard to prove domestic violence because its either a he said, she said, or the woman refuses to press charges and assist in the prosecution. BUT in this case, it is clear that Rice decks her with a left hook! For those that can't see the video..

They are clearly arguing when they get into the elevator, she lightly slaps him, he moves away, she comes at him and he drops her like a stone with a quick left hook. The worst part is that HE SHOWS NO REMORSE WHATSOEVER!! He kicks her unconscious body around, puts up her shoes and purse and then drags her limp body out of the elevator. Some stranger comes by and shows 1,000 times more concern for her that Rice does!

I have a feeling that with 2 Monday night game tonight and all the talking heads at ESPN and NFLN going, it is going to impossible for it not to bloom tonight into a huge story!!

The NFL should suspend him indefinitely, and the Ravens should release him. Again, he showed no remorse whatsoever, he knocked a woman unconscious and just kicked her legs around so the doors would close!! The video is truly disturbing!

It's a win-win scenario, IMO. If the public makes this enough of an issue that won't go away, the Ommish won't be able to ignore it. Either he will have to publicly eat crow, or else we'll get the pleasure of seeing Goodell come down harder on Ray Rice to cover his own sorry ass.

That's my take on it, too. It was the ****storm of public reaction to Goodell's original bogus 2 game suspension that caused him to enact the new domestic violence policy. As long as the NFL looks bad - especially if it threatens to turn off potential fans and lower ratings - he'll do something to save face.

Good Lord, Ray Rice should be in jail or else there's never been a good reason to send someone to the slammer short of murder. The cops should be ashamed of treating Rice as a star, which they obviously did.

As for the NFL? 2 games? If I were the commish and saw this video I might consider banning Rice for life. The heck with the bylaws, Goodell could have set the standard himself by handing Rice a 2 year ban and forced the NFLPA into the hideous position of having to defend Rice's abhorrent behavior. Goodell should be a candidate for removal from his post considering how badly he judged, and how weakly he responded, to the situation. What Goodell provided was far from leadership, and that is exactly what his role is created for.

The timing of the release of this video by TMZ or another party who sold to TMZ, couldn't have been better. Rice is designated to return this Friday, but that is now really in doubt.
