PFT: THE NINTH TAG IS USED

With eight players already fitted for the franchise tag, a ninth guy found himself getting tendered on Wednesday night.

Per Adam Schefter of NFL Network, the Rams are using the tag on safety Oshiomogho Atogwe.

The move requires a one-year tender in the amount of $6.342 million. The amount becomes fully guaranteed if/when Atogwe accepts the offer.

The deadline for using the tag is 4:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, February 19.
