Pryor fined 7500 for hit on Favre...

When I saw this hit I kept trying to figure out how Favre's chin got cut. I don't remember seeing a clip of the helmet making contact with his chin. It looked like Pryor's helmet was well below Favre's chin.

I was thinking that his shoulder pads got pushed up into his chin and that caused the cut. I don't think i've seen a more by the book hit on a QB all season. He wasn't low, he wasn't high, he put his facemask in his sternum. Whats the range that legal? From the belly button to the bottom of the rib cage?

Why do you think Bill is not complaining about the fines, because he isn't a MORON like most of the people on this board and knows to how to read and comprehend.

Yeah, because BB always goes straight to the public media to blab his feelings.

Brilliant post.

this fine was ABSOLUTE BS

nothing more to say.

The more the pro-fine people keep talking, the more foolish they sound. Just give it up already. Jeezus.

sweet sig, how did you do that?

The Borges quote had to be done.

As for the predictions, they were all the product of my inferior football mind.

Seriously though, the helmets I did in Photoshop. I was worried they would be bad karma, but so far, so good.

When I saw it happen, I thought maybe his jaw was fractured by the way the trainers were handling him. I of course thought "clean hit". So when I saw Pryor was fined $7,500, I then thought like most, "B--L S--T."

What's the cliche about a picture and a thousand words?

1. Textbook hit
2. Physics
3. Sh|t happens

Pryor should link to your post when he appeals his fine.

In this picture, if I didn't know better I'd swear that was Mark Wahlberg, not Favre.

The rule is pretty clear.

And his helmet hit the players head.

I am okay with this. It is a pretty small fine (relatively speaking as NFL fines go) with no suspension as it should be given the lack of past offenses and apparent lack of intent.

If Brady had been on the receiving end the board would be going crazy for the lack of a suspension.

I would pay Pryor $7500 out of my pocket if he promises top crack Favre's coconut every time he sees him!

What a p^$$y league this is becoming!

When I was at UM, we used to go down to the Orange Bowl on Saturdays and watch the likes of Michael Barrow, Jessie Armstead, Tiger Clark, Ryan McNeil, CJ Richardson, Bennie Blades and the lads and everybody knew Luke Skywalker from 2LiveCrew was PAYING those boys to knock the p!$$ out of their opponents.

That's how it SHOULD be!

The NFL should PAY defensive players bonuses for extracting snot from offensive players.

Special teammers, too.

I want to see players get blown up on Sundays!
