Neither Develin (FB) or Ebner (ST) appear to be listed (Slater is listed under ST).

Amendola is listed under both WR and Return Specialist.
Lewis is listed under RB, but NOT under Return Specialist.

Not that I think this popularity contest is meaningful ...

Official 2018 Pro Bowl Ballot

Post your rants and vents below.

A couple other weirdnesses:

No ILB listed for the Pats; both Roberts and Van Noy are listed under OLB.
Wise is listed under DT; Guy is listed under DE.

Brissett is listed under QB, so I gave him some love along with Brady (you can vote for up to 6).

This ballot only proves that the Patriot's sum is greater than its parts........Lots of individual stats on other team's players outperform the Patriot player at the same position but in the end it's the Patriots who currently have the second best record out of 32 teams....

So what's the deal with this Pro Bowl ballot? Does the Patriots team list who should be nominated for pro bowl?

I never understood why Devin McCourty was listed Strong Safety his 1st couple of years at the Safety position.

Slater might miss a good amount of time. If he does his probowl appearance is in question.

Right now the candidates are (* means I think they actually make it)

QB - Brady*
TE - Gronk*
C - Andrews
G - Mason
FB - Develin*
FS - McCourty*
ST - Slater*

I don't think Andrews makes it but Mason might. Cannon has had a down year compared to last year and has been injured. I hope he comes back when healthy soon and looks like 2016 Cannon who dominated that year

Thuney has had a solid year as well but not probowl worthy.

On defense it pretty much only McCourty who honestly isn't having a great year but will make it on reputation and play that while not amazing has been pretty damn good.

I think Shaq Mason actually has a real strong possibility to get his first nod this year.

No Cooks?

Looks like Develin was added

No Cooks?

Not as of now but if he has a few big games sure. How many wrs are picked again? 6? I don't think he one of the top 6 this year

No, the actual teams are still reverted back to AFC/NFC, with 4 WR's in each I believe.

I wouldn't think it's far fetched that Cooks can crack the top 4 in the AFC

You can vote for multiple players at every position. You can vote for every Pats player, and submit as many ballots as you want.

At this stage of the Pro Bowl voting, it's nothing more than a popularity contest, so it really doesn't matter if a player "deserves" to go or not. That part will be decided later by a "select panel of experts".

Meanwhile, the vast majority of fans of every other team - such as Steelers fans and Jets fans - will be voting over-and-over again for their guys, so it's really an us-versus-them competition.

I say we all vote for every Pats player on the list a gazillion times and kick their asses.
