If they continue to win with this long list of injured players out of the lineup. 2nd and 3rd stringers pushed into the starting line-up. It will be because of Drake Maye's play.

Ignoring the seeding implications, this is still an important game for the team preparing for the playoffs. If Maye has a typically great game, winning today will be about the resilience and cohesiveness of the players. Having a team with a proven track record of overcoming adversity would bode well for the playoffs with the addition of a couple of key players coming of the IR.

Williams is going to get a ton of snaps today, good opportunity for the kid.

Absolutely Tommy.. Williams gives this offense an added element for example all his deep catches have gone for TD scores. He's put that on film and it must now be accounted for. We still have Henry a top 10 TE in the league and rham and hendo catching out the backfield. Diggs is gamer as we all know.

Well, Williams is going to have to be more than just a deep threat today, he's going to have to play X the whole game, pretty much. He's a willing blocker, but he's no Mack Hollins. It's a good chance for him to showcase his development as a complete receiver today. Slants, outs, etc. No 'my bads' from him today.

Well, Williams is going to have to be more than just a deep threat today, he's going to have to play X the whole game, pretty much. He's a willing blocker, but he's no Mack Hollins. It's a good chance for him to showcase his development as a complete receiver today. Slants, outs, etc. No 'my bads' from him today.

Hollins is a grizzled veteran who's also benefiting from playing in Josh's system. As a rookie Williams is learning from him. Wich is tremendous for his development.

Hollins is the biggest most physically imposing WR we have. Williams has run other routes go back to the TB game took a slant to the house. He's been brought along gradually as rookie and gives the offense an element missing for a long time. As I mentioned all Williams big plays have gone for TDs. I'm sure Vrabel's not gonna complain about that.

Ideally with Hollins out you would want man beaters like pop in at WR if he's healthy.

Last I remember highway Hobbs got called for a phantom PI on Wayne. We had chances to win that game. Ben Watson had a chance last late and Brady got picked off.. by what about Bob Sanders..

Great points. I remember it well.. up 21-3.. UGH.. we have more than enough to compete. Some younger fans may not understand how we were able to win that season with the cast of WRs.

It was hotter than hell in that dome. The Colts had those mesh see through Jerseys on that I have not seem any team wear since and didn't know were even legal.. They looked like they were cooler.

Crowd noise was definetly being pumped through the staium speaker sytem.

It was and indy likely probably had someone turning up the temperature in the RCA dome.. the defensive line was gassed.

P Manning finally beat Brady in a playoff game. The Colts when on to beat the Bears in the SB. P Mannings first SB ring.

The Pat's would destroyed the Bears and avenged the 1985 debacle. HC Lovie Smith and Rex Grossman as QB.

Night prior to the game, I met some Ireland Pats fans in town for the game. They had never tailgated before so I went out and bought a charcoal weber grill, food and beer. They never showed up and I wound up giving the food away to Colts and Pats fans nearby. Beer too.

I just got rid of that same grill this past spring. Burned a hole tonight through it

One thing we can count on is complete scrub Cook & the Jets going for a first drive TD.
After that, we better force a bunch of 3 & Outs and turnovers.

Also, kinda surprised they didn't call up Jiles - he's the most Hollins-like. And he was a pleasant surprise in the preseason.
I don't know what to expect with Chism - wonder if he can be the Boutte-like WR who just finds holes with route running and instinct. Let's hope.
Also curious if we'll see some Dippre today? Signs point to a lot of 12 and running.
