As I stated, Ken. Yes. I believe a team WILL give up a draft pick because Tua's Contract is only an albatross to Miami. They take it on and it, essentially, becomes a 1yr prove it deal for Tua. While some people believe that Miami can go into next season with more than 100M in dead cap space (they already have over $35M and Tua would add another 67M by cutting him), I don't believe they can. Especially if they end up cutting Tyreek Hill. Why DB? Do you think some team will give Miami draft assets AND take on Tua's contract too. It is more likely they will cut him OR keep him next year and let him try and fight for a role for another year.
Regardless, they are pretty much tucked next year no matter what they do.
I agree that Miami put themselves in a bad situation. The Combo of McDaniel and Grier was bad and it's going to take them years to recover.
