(No, I am not talking about Pats-Ravens being the highest rated cable TV show ever. That was clearly due to the broadcast team, particularly Tony Kornheiser.)

This week we had the first player in the long storied history* of "Predict the Score" to win TWO WEEKS IN A ROW. Poker, a relatively new poster somehow predicted how the last two weeks would end up. I'll certainly be watching his prediction this week.

Season Standings

The story this week is patsfanofNC12, who was pretty average at this week's prediction but by doing so was better than most of his close competitors and opened up an 18 point lead. The previous largest lead at week 13 was only 6 points. (By shakadave both times, though he only went on to win one of them.)

But 18 points is nothing to the Patriots, and there is still a lot of season to be played... stay tuned!

The irony here is I am pretty close to the top right now in every contest I am in online, except this one... where I am in 77th! This prediction definitely needs different thinking than most.
