Post your predictions here for Week 9, New England Patriots at Baltimore Ravens.

This contest is open to everyone, it's both a weekly and a season-long contest. Stakes are bragging rights.

Each week I will tabulate and post the scores for the previous week's contest, as well as the cumulative season standings for those who have played every week. As a one-time allowance for computer problems, forgetfulness, or whatever, one week can be missed and will be assigned that week's average score.

Scoring:
Your score is the COMBINED deviation of your predicted score for the Pats and opponents REGARDLESS OF DIRECTION. For example, if you predict Patriots 24 Ravens 17 your score is how many points off of 24 the Pats are (over or under does not matter) PLUS how many points off of 17 the Ravens are (over or under again does not matter). Game winner does not matter. Lowest score wins.

You may change your prediction at any time before kickoff, either by editing your original post or by adding a new one. Predictions made in other threads don't count unless they were clearly meant for this contest but were posted elsewhere by mistake. Please keep this thread to predictions only, no back-and-forth discussion of the game. A short comment explaining your pick is OK.

Good luck!

26-20, Patriots.

Champs 27, Ratbirds 10

Pats 33 Ravs 10

Rat Birds 20
Pats 17

(Can’t get INTs from a team that won’t pass)

Patriots: 17
Ravens: 16

Pats 20-16.

If the Brownies can score 40 on these guys at their place, I'd be embarrassed if we don't put up at least 30 . . .
Patriots-33
Harbawl's Ratbirds-23

Pats 29
Ravens 12

Should be the first game where some pick the opponent since game 1

NE 27
BAL 20

Patriots win 20-13

Pats 27
Ravens 17

Man, I am 0-8 this year....I'll keep trying to get it right.

I simply have no confidence in our running game and Baltimore's D is getting it's secondary back together at 100%. I think we will be lucky to score 17 points even. And on defense, I think we can keep the Ravens under 20...but it only takes one or two special teams big plays to flip field position for some big Justin Tucker kicks.....

Baltimore 19 (4 Tucker field goals and one kick returned for TD)
Patriots 13 (One passing TD early in the game and Folk goes 2/3 on figgies..missing a late one in the 4th. Then we end the game by going 4 and out on offense).

Patriots: 24
Ravens: 17
