I'll add Two Rookie WR's coming in: I think they are WR's in this Draft who can contribute from day one ie...Jaxson Smith-Njigba - Zay Flowers - Jordan Addison and Josh Downs. I want us to get a combination of two of those guys @ WR no excuses.

All of those guys are likely to be already taken by the time #46 arrives on the schedule, so at best we'll grab only one of them.

Don't be shocked however if the Pats don't take any WR until #76...at the Earliest...

Still missing that special someone.
That guy to me is in Arizona.... for now.. Hopkins for sure would help this offense..draft more young talent at WR and we are in the conversation... we have some pieces just need that game breaker.. on defense as well.

can we get one with the 14th pick? if so, there is the answer to the million dollar question - who do we draft in round 1

A CB worthy of the 14th overall pick? Absolutely...This is a good year to need a first-round CB; there might be up to a half-dozen taken in the round.

These guys will all be a big reach at 14. We don't draft this high hardly ever. Last time was 2010.

If we reach when we have a chance at draftng the kind of impact players who always go in the top 15, it will be a huge opportunity lost.

When we've drafted high in the past, we ended up with Seymour, McGinest, Mayo. Which is invaluable compared to a #2 WR.

I wouldn't draft any of them at #14 overall... The TCU kid would definitely give me longer pause however...

#46 is a different matter...

I would rather have a big bodied defense guy or a cornerstone OT at 14. Or hell, if there's a true blocking/catching TE, I could be talked into that.

Parris Johnson will likely be gone before #14; Peter Skoronski too if his arms are at least 33"... But if either Broderick Jones or Anton Harrison is still on the board, then the choice might in the end all come down to one of those two LTs or one of the CB1s such as Porter, Gonzales or Kelly Ringo...

Should we be looking for some more speed rather than the Allen/Parker option ? I assume that Agholor is gone and then we are reliant on Thornton to progress and be more of a threat. I have seen posts in other threads stating that there is no threats keeping opposing DC's awake at night.....is Allen that guy ?

Here's a list - not a complete one but one that includes the bigger names - of the impending UFA WRs:

Besides Meyers himself, and based on age/yards per catch, the names here that would interest me the most are DJ Chark, Allen Lazard, JuJu SS, Ola Zaccheaus, Noah Brown, Trent Sherfield, Justin Watson & Darius Slayton.

Cousins do not sleep on Colts Paris Campbell whom after 3 years in the tub is now healthy.
A quick breakfast this AM of OJ, Coffee with a few drops of sweetener and a cheddar cheese and chive scone sliced, heated with butter and raspberry jam.

At Ohio State he was more prolific than Terry McLaurin. He ran a 4.31 40 which was faster than Olave and McLaurin. He is not small at 6'0" and 206 lbs. and only 25 years old. He had 913 snaps last year to prove he can stay on the field compared to 629 for Meyers. Campbell had 57 receptions for 581 yards and 3 TDs with mediocre QB play. His catch ratio was 69.2% which is superb. He was not featured as much as Michael Pittman Jr. Could be a steal. I would sign him even if we resign Meyers.

We need speed!!? He is also one year younger than Meyers. My prediction for Meyers will be $14mm to $16mm....good for him. I think we can sign the now healthy Campbell for 1/2 of that. He had by far the most snaps of any free agent WR this year.

That's probably the tier of player's we'll be in.. of that group as far as size, ability and potential lazard fits that. I'd be ok with him if we signed him.. and drafted another 2 WRs to bring along.. potentially having Parker, lazard, hopefully Myers, Bourne and Thornton.. is a solid group

DCs would at least have to respect Thornton and lazards speed on the outside..

D Slayton reminds me of Meyers on the Patriots very similar players.

Yes absolutely they are very similar players.. I see Myers staying... he's part of the post brady era of players that have made a name for themselves.. he's a definite pro. Catches everything and always open..

I don't know about Meyers staying I think Meyers would be Elite on a Team with a legitimate #1 WR. I think Teams like Dallas - Minnesota maybe Buffalo would be a great fits for him.

His value is greater here I feel.. Buffalo is going to be a different team themselves they have a ton of key guys that are free agents.. so who knows what thier cap situation is.. Myers all things considered made elite players here he'd easily be over 1000 yards if he hadn't missed time with the knee.... those are the guys you root for and want to keep..

Nice totally forgot about him I would give a one year prove it deal in FA. There was a lot of hype around him when he came out but boy the injuries piled up.

Other than Brady his Rookie year Meyers haven't played with a Good QB. IF I was him I would be tempted to look on the other side I would like to see Meyers play with a Good QB.

I can agree with that... except when it comes to Mac I tend to lean towards his rookie season as that's what he is not the debacle last season where he was regressed... Myers and Mac actually have a great on field connection.. I just would like to see Myers this season in a functional offense.. his game could go to thr next level..

Am I missing some reason Odell Beckham isn’t talked about at all? Obviously the injury is a factor but even with that he’s a better bet to be a game changer than most of the mediocrity on the free agent list this year.

I believe due to the injuries and him not playing last season likely has teams on pause... but yes he absolutely is a game changer, great hands, great route runner.. however I'd be more than happy with him being signed!

I think O'dell prefers a Contendah!

IF we didn't have so much question marks on Offense form QB onward I would be all in on D Hopkins Trade. That said let's say we get Jimmy G in FA along with Hopkins in a Trade now we would have a QB who can get our WR's and TE's the Football count me in.

cant get them the football from the ice tub
