Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman and Brandon LaFell all are on pace for 1000-yard seasons. Tom Brady has never had three 1000-yard receivers.

For LaFell's 1,000-yard projection, I took out the first two games, then divided his yards/nine games, multiplied them by 14 = 1,048 yards.

The closest Brady came to having three 1,000-yard receivers was 2011 with Welker (1,569), Gronk (1,327) and Hernandez (910).

Obviously the league rules have something to do with this, but still interesting nonetheless. Lafell would become just the 2nd outside WR to reach 1,000 yards since Moss for Brady. Boy, was I off about the Lafell signing.

Gronk is a beast, but our WR duo is underrated. Sure, it isn't Nelson/Cobb, Thomas/Sanders, or Marshall/Jeffery, but Edelman/Lafell are both in the top 25 for receiving yards, while Edelman is 7th in receptions and Lafell is 36th.

Vereen is also on track for 1000 yards combined rushing/receiving. And the combo "power back" if Ridley-Gray-Blount is on track for about 1100 yards rushing. Finally, the Gronk/Wright TE combo is on pace for 22 TDs, close to what Gronk and Hernandez achieved in 2011 (24).

Imagine what Brady could do if he had weapons.

LaFell is sitting one catch shy of his career high currently.

Title should probably be 1,000 yard receivers, since Gronk most definitely is not a WR
