Yeah but they might weigh heavily on "this guy could go to jail".... I actually had him going #1 overall to Chicago if Chicago didn't trade the #1..... but not anymore.....Lucky for him the NFL doesn't weigh heavily on character.
I really don't think so. This isn't going to impact anyone's boardHe just lost about $20 Million...

He won't go to jail.
Community Service and a fine, if he's found guilty.
i'll bet he was scared and he should be scared....he's in trouble.Feels like more charges may be on the way, and they just announced the warrants that have been “secured” right now in response to the article this morning that included a lot of new information. I don’t know the laws specific to Georgia, but racing resulting in death often qualifies for something like vehicular manslaughter. He also (allegedly) fled the scene of an accident that killed a teammate and a staffer and then lied to police about it.
If all he did was street race with no one hurt, then I would agree with you. But 2 people died, which raises the stakes considerably. I don't know Georgia law on this matter, but when people die, charges tend to go from misdemeanor to felony. He won't go to jail.

Agree 100%. Felony manslaughter is very much on the table here. He could also be civilly liable (yes, even though the deceased were in one of the racing cars).Feels like more charges may be on the way, and they just announced the warrants that have been “secured” right now in response to the article this morning that included a lot of new information. Misdemeanors. If all he did was street race with no one hurt, then I would agree with you. But 2 people died, which raises the stakes considerably. I don't know Georgia law on this matter, but when people die, charges tend to go from misdemeanor to felony.
Not when people die.Misdemeanors.
Guess time will tell.I really don't think so. This isn't going to impact anyone's board
La'el Collins fell to undrafted because he was questioned by the police in a murder. He was never named as a suspect.Guess time will tell.
I highly doubt he sees any jail time, but character questions will now be unrelenting. (as far as I remember there were already a few vague character concerns that Todd McShay brought up)
La'el Collins bong smoking pic emerging day before the draft, which dropped him from 1st Rd to UDFA, comes to mind as a comparison.
