It's easy, and only takes a few moments. The way Belichick rules this team with an iron fist makes me think the unthinkable....BUT could Bill have been secretly holding back a grudge all season long and using his starting corner in Butler to help get to the big game with the idea of if they got there he was going to make him pay for all the offseason negativity that Butler had provided about not wanting to play here and wanted to be a N.O. Saint in the summer and possibly having to sacrifice a championship game to get his point across to not mess with the F.O by benching him and not letting the rest of the league possibly see him play well in his final game as a Patriot and earning big bucks elsewhere? - this could have been his master plan all along - crazy but possible IMOI'm still trying to wrap my head around what I just saw.
A Pats team put up the most points in regulation of their 10 Super Bowls and lost?
The 40yr old GOAT threw for over 500yds?
A Nick Foles offense scored on 8 of 10 possessions?
Malcolm Butler gets reps all week with the starters, warms up with the starters and then is told he's not starting, sees zero defensive snaps and BB says this is not disciplinary? WTF happened between Friday practice and the end of warmups today?
On the balance, 2017 was an impressive title defense attempt. Just a really strange ending.
Regards,
Chris
Hightower was one of them ....uh,oh - see ya Donte....(prays that wont happen)Apparently Brandon Browner wrote a post on Instagram basically calling out Belichick regarding Butler and a couple of Patriots players liked it.

I don’t think Browner is saying anything we aren’t all thinking.Apparently Brandon Browner wrote a post on Instagram basically calling out Belichick regarding Butler and a couple of Patriots players liked it.
i think Bill is going to lose a lot of the lockerroom because of the Butler benching. you can tell the team is pissed.
Belichick deserved to take heat for that. I don't even like Butler, but not playing him cost us 14 points. If I was in the locker room that choice would lose me, so belichick had better have a good explanation if he doesn't want to lose them. That would bea career ending move for any other coachApparently Brandon Browner wrote a post on Instagram basically calling out Belichick regarding Butler and a couple of Patriots players liked it.

That's an interesting thought on things.I have no idea what Butler's illness was 4-5 days ago, but an illness that gets you admitted for iv fluids, probably was serious especially if it was the flu. It is also entirely possible that BB did not allow Butler to interact with the rest of the team for fear of getting other players sick all week. Lack of practice, and being physically not 100% is an easy reason to not have him play. Just imagine the uproar if Butler got injured while playing with the flu.
I suspect that the main reason why Butler was dressed was because he would be the replacement for an injury. BB and MP probably felt that 100% Rowe was better than a less than 100% Butler. I guess we will never know.
Browner has multiple Instagram posts calling out/blaming Belichick.
Hightower has liked them as well

Any other players?
