It's pretty trivial, but yeah I'd let the gamethread open for 10 minutes or so, right after feels like part of the game to me.

I can't get a feel for this year's team. I thought we might have a power running game with Hill, Rex, and Michel before those dreams were quickly dashed. Even our passing game doesn't seem to have an identity. Our defense doesn't make sense and the one thing I thought we could count on, special teams, has been all over the place.

It's like all our Runningbacks are cursed

Call me a homer but I'm not really worried too much about our defense. They aren't great but a lot of problems don't seem to be due to a lack of talent as much as it is bad communication or missed plays here and there in tough situations.

Please stop with this optimistic view, it's ruining the GDT All Stars buzz, HA!

Trubisky isn't good but the pats made him look that way.

50+ came on the hail mary, and their entire goal was to keep him out of the end zone, so I'm not too worried about that one. They kept Trubisky to about around 50% completion percentage, picked him off twice, and should have had at least 2 - 3 more picks that they dropped. I'm not sure that qualifies as a "good" QB performance . . .

This was a weird game. Overall I won't be too harsh on the D. It is what it is, they lack talent and ST and O put them in a bad position a couple of times.

The things that annoyed me most about the D was lack of discipline. Be it the penalties on Jackson or Clayborn leaving gigantic running lanes for Trubisky.

The game plan on D was largely good. They exploited Trubisky's weaknesses very well.

I disagree. The defense played fairly well (notwithstanding some glaring individual blunders) for the majority of the game, but they did not finish the game well at all. Those final two drives were awful in terms of focus, effort, and energy.

The defense doesn't suck and it's looking better each week.

The way to force the bears into mistakes was by pressuring Trubisky and they did that constantly. That's a very good thing.

The Bears are a KC Lite type of team. They're a good team. The Pats won despite three turnovers.

Honestly? Not at all. Even if they got a TD we could still win in OT with a TD or a FG and I wouldn't have lost so I wasn't stressing at all.

I was fine with our performance with the exception of our qb contain. A few of Mitch’s runs were flat embarrassing for the defense

Eagle and Fouts might be the worst commentary duo in any league. Seriously, I don't want to ever read those "Romo talks too much" comments ever again.

Fouts is just awful. I don't mind Eagle but the play by play guy is almost always going to be at the mercy of who he is stuck with for color.

On the positive side, this offense may be “Gronk proof” similar to the 2016 offense. That’s important on the quest for a SB.
