The Pats invested more than I expected in the offense in this free agency, I the draft would be offense oriented but now I think it's going to be BPA as usual. It's reasonable to expect BB to sign another WR or two until the end of camp.

That said, the way the offense is right now, a rookie WR will have a hard time to get some snaps, it's probably going to be a red shirt year so I thought BB should take a flyer in the 4th or 5th round, too bad we don't have any picks in these rounds.

Depending on which OLmen and DLmen are available at 60/61, I could see Shepherd being taken with one of those picks. I would be surprised if he's still on the board at the end of the 3rd round, but there
should be some good WRs (& RBs) to be had there anyway.

Cody Core 24 ranked wr 5th round projected. 6'3 205lb 4:37 40
Big fan of Core's, if we can get him in the 5th round, that would be a steal.

It's such a pleasure to watch Shepard play. He's Julian E all over again. Same aggressiveness, quickness, and tenacity.

Also: for anyone doubting his size and testing numbers, he is virtually identical to Antonio Brown, who seems to be working out okay.

Wins the "most likely to succeed in a Patriots' offense" award.
