Great question. I have always thought that teams shouldn’t retire numbers, the Celtics retire everyone’s number and the Steelers have never retired a number but how can you not, also build a statue.

I don't think the Pats HoF is significant enough to properly acknowledge Tom's accomplishments here.

#12 deserves a special exemption and his number should be retired.

The only answer is absolutely. Brady is on the Mt.Rushmore of sport greats, he should have a statue outside of the Stadium He’s the GOAT, and I would actually be fine with a big old statue of a goat, wearing #12.

Brady seems like the guy who wouldn't want his number retired. Man is so competitive that he could be saying "Hell, I dare someone to try and surpass my legacy with my number." - he doesn't get that competition if the number is retired.

Yeah, I know - I'm probably 100% wrong, and I 99.9% think they will retire his number. However, if they don't.... it's because Brady stepped in and said don't do it (I would be blown away if I call this right )
