POLL: Pat Patriot or Flaming Elvis?

1976 here. I remember 1-15 and 2-14 (twice) and am sane. Guy taking a dump can stay in that era. And red? Redcoats are the bad guys, Mr. Sullivan.

Well, as I have argued for several years now, I'd like to see a new uniform that has a red jersey, with silver numbers, silver pants, and the same helmet now used, but instead of Pat Patriot, use the Flying Elvis logo.

For away uniforms they could either use a white jersey with either silver or red numbers. OR they could use a silver jersey with red numbers and red pants. Either works for me.

I like the Flying Elvis one just fine but I wouldn't mind if they updated it because it's just screams "early-90's graphic artist".

Pat Patriot is cool and all but like others have said, it represented a dark time for the franchise. I don't mind it being an alternate logo, though.

Pats had roughly 4 or 5 bad to really bad years between 1974-1992.... And had some pretty good 11-5 teams (same record as our 2001 team, and BOTH 76 and 78 were much better teams than that 2001 team.

FE has had three bad years between (1993-present) bad for them 5-11. The "darkness" you speak of is really overblown, and frankly mostly stems from the very end when they almost went to St. Louis. In early 90s they had a 1-15 and a 2-14, which really skews how people remember the whole life of the franchise unfairly.

Why do you need to rehash the same old stuff again and again? Nobody cares.

Pat is the past logo of lovable losers while the current logo is the logo of Champions.

Pat and the red unis are nice for throwback weeks, but that's the extent of it.

They are not making a return to mainstream.

FE is like the SW pre-quels, dated and not transcendant. Pat Patriot is a forever classic. The FE looks like something dumb someone quickly drew up clearly in a 1990's style. No one honestly likes it , including all of you.

I voted for Pat but as someone mentioned I think I just like the uniforms more than the logo. The 09 "modernized" throwback jerseys looked so damn clean. I still try to find a throwback white Brady jersey

In my lifetime, I've had hundreds if not thousands of conversations about the Pats with non Pats fans. Not once did one of them mention our logo and how we should be embarrassed by it.

We've won 5 Super Bowls in the past 16 seasons. We're the greatest dynasty in NFL history. Our coach is the best ever. Our QB is the best ever. If you wear Pats gear in shame simply because of the logo, seek help.
