A lot of good options here. Watch the NFL push Eagles Cowboys though lmao

Would love to see Eagles Lions.

You want Eagles Lions later in the season. You probably want Eagles Commanders later too. Unfortunately Dallas makes the most sense they bring the viewers and allows those other games to be Primetime later.

I'm banking on the Rams. I think they usually shy away from division rivals in those games right?

No Patriots/Browns??

Eagles-Bills would be something. Philly also has a SB rematch on their schedule in Arrowhead.

Eagles & Commanders would make the most sense. The NFCCG rematch - lots of hype. Divisional matchup.

But, I think the NFL has pampered the reigning champ too much, and they want to give them a better chance at a win.
So, I could see them acting like they're making it a big game, but not - therefore: Cowboys or Bears.

Raiders move way up on the list if they bring in Rodgers/Adams. The league won't be able to resist.

I think itll probably be the cowboys

I want to be playing the hardest team we have on the schedule. Start Patriots - Phase 2 off seeing where we stand vs a good team.

The NFL knows everyone is going to tune into the season opener. They don't want to "blow their load" with too much of a marquee matchup. They want one that people can get hyped for, but knowing that there's always going to be a huge amount of hype already baked into it. It's really more about building hype for the champs' OPPONENTS than anything else.

WAS makes the most sense because Daniels is so exciting that it gives the media a chance to discuss him a ton and vault him into stardom. DEN could sneaky make sense because it's a good team with a young QB that people can get interested in that they might not otherwise be thinking about a ton.
