Not including Vollmer, Chung, McCourty, Gronkowski, Hernandez and Mesko who have all produced at a high level, which 2nd or 3rd year player will have a breakout season this year?

Too many options! I'm going to go with Gronk's roommate Fletcher on defense and Tate on offense. I know most people don't like Tate but I like what I've read about him staying in Foxboro over the lockout with Mayo & others.

How does whether you can vote for one or multiple players make it a waste of time? It's probably better with just one otherwise I would have voted for Cuningham, Spikes, Fletcher, Price, Edelman and Tate.

I think a lot of people are hoping Cunningham is the break out guy and hence his high number of votes thus far.

I went with Spikes. He already is a pretty good run stuffer. I thought he made making big strides in the passing game last year. That's not saying a ton b/c he was clearly out of position and fooled by play action early in the season but it's still nice to see progress.

Let's hope both break out and LB's become a strength of the Pat's once again.
