2012 NFL Playoff Machine - Simulate Matchups and Scenarios - ESPN
I love playing with this toy every winter.
HOU: @TEN, @NE, IND, MIN, @IND
BAL: Pitt, @Wash, Den, NYG, @Cinn
NE: @MIA, HOU, SF, @JAX, MIA
DEN: TB, @OAK, @BAL, CLE, KC
Houston almost always struggles @TEN and @IND. Given the quality of this Titans team and the Texans coming off two scares I doubt they lose but if the Pats can run the table the Colts almost certainly will need that game to get into the playoffs.
Baltimore has 5 playoff contenders to deal with and they are awful on the road. Hopefully Roethlisberger plays next week. I believe they'll lose at least two of these.
Denver only has @BAL as a game I think they will lose. Outside shot of Tampa.
NE it basically comes down to that two games in 6 days vs Houston and SF. I have to say after watching SF yesterday they need Vollmer, Mankins, Jones and Gronk back to compete with how physical they are.
