I'm guessing most of us have read that Belichick routinely quizzes the players on their opponents. This morning Mike Reiss has an article discussing it with the players. It just shows everyone that the Patriots win week after week and year after year because they are the best prepared team in football.

Here's a quote from Jabaal Sheard:

"You're always nervous to get called on, because you don't know what question is going to be asked," he said. "He could be asking about the owner. To think about knowing the owner is difficult, to know his background.

"It's definitely something new. You don't want to mess up a guy's name and any time you're taking a test, I think there's a little bit of nervousness there, but I think everybody in the room is pretty confident. We do a good job studying over here."

At the top of the TEAM pyramid, the leader is trying to get the team to pay attention to details. Note: we've also passed the point of buy-in at this junction, in strict leadership terms. BRAVO!
