Obviously, time to trade Gronk now.

This kid is good. He was a three-year starter at Florida State. His senior year got wrecked when the Seminoles starting QB went down for the season in the opener. They brought in a raw backup named James Blackman who couldn't read a defense and they focused on running the ball.

He is a seasoned blocker who is good at the line and down field. He handled Clemson's best edge rushers the last two years. In practice he squared up with DE Josh Sweat who many of us wanted the Pats to draft. My guess is that Izzo was a Scarnecchia selection to have some competition in camp.

If he and Brady get on the same page, this could be a good 7th round addition.

Izzo has a good chance to make the roster or PS as a blocking TE. That's awesome for a 7th rounder.

nfl.com had him rated as a 5th or 6th rounder, same as Sam.

I agree with them. Sam and Izzo have the best chance of the Day 3 picks to make the 53.

Bentley and Sam are making the team, IMO.

Rooting for Berrios, but it's a tough hill to climb.
