Traded up to get him

Decent backup. We have seen what happens with no OL depth.

love this guy. Patriots going old school ball control when defenses are getting lighter, the patriots are gonna push teams around.

Big time bully. I had a 6th on him I think.

I like his movement for 350+ A bit slow east/west picking some stuff up. Same with getting to the 2nd level and LBs. Hes just a big dude so I saw a lot of times where he'll create a nice lane but fail to really get hands on his mark on that level. That's a lot of extra to ask from such a big dude.
I like his hands. Big time pop as you'd imagine.

Nice balance for the most part. You can get him tipsy when he's trying to slide for stunts or we. Again just a big dude you'll have to live with some stuff. Pretty soft feet for his size.

Big time anchor in pass pro. Very tough to move. Love his attitude.

+combo blocker devastating at times. He wants to punish.

Good job at using his length initially but has trouble if he's caught of guard and can't anchor properly.

I've heard different things from those that watched him so ill be interested to hear from others if they seen him play? Anyone??

Mentioned it before but this is the 13th time Bill has drafted teammates. He loves going back to the same schools and douple dipping same year.

With Froholdt and Cajuste hopefully being healthy OL depth should really not be an issue this year. Fingers crossed..

My only concern is who is the Back-up center(s).. Is it Thuney? Mason? Froholdt?

FWIW the Jete were going to draft Froholdt to play center...we snagged him instead.

If Froholdt ends up being a better Karras replacement, great. The fact that Onwenu has said he's practicing it himself speaks volumes about the kid knowing he needs to be versatile. Having him take over in a few years for Andrews would be huge.. every pun intended.

Or.. you know.. the Patriots could draft a center.. LOL

Why would a guy like this fall to the 6th round? Perceived low football awareness ?
