I doubt Schiano is calling the shots on Belichick's behalf. If we wanted him, we would have him.

I'm with you on that one. Why would we offer a 6th round pick, but then get talked out of the trade by the trading team? If Schiano didn't think it was a good fit it would have never of gotten to the "what are you offering" talk. I think there is more smoke than fire here.

Found that story strange when I read it this morning.
Winslow is an oft-injured punk. Could never see him as a fit with this team.
If true it's very bizarre.
