Maybe hidden in all the highlights of yesterday's historic Boston comebacks was this; "Drew Brees going three-and-out on seven series in a game is pretty amazing." Considering all the injuries to the Patriots defense, that is also amazing.

Just a great win. Great players like Brady are always a threat to make a great play even when they have an off day. A special win and kudos to the defense. What a job they did especially when realizing how many quality players were missing.
So sweet!!

No disrespect to the other QBs in the NFL, but when the game is on the line there's nobody else I'd rather have the ball in their hands than Tom.

He's been money for so long. There was never any doubt in my mind that he'd pull it off. The guy is as clutch as it gets.

Some Patriots fans may not agree with you Oz. Brady may be one of the best QBs to play in the NFL. As far as I'm concerned, he's the best QB the Patriots have ever had in their history. The day he retires will be a sad day for me. We should all enjoy it while it last. Even if it's not all perfection.

Not to mention under 50% completion percentage. This is a guy who will routinely go over 70% in many games (and the last time he played us in 2009 was at 80% I believe).

Peter was wrong in his numbers, Brees went three and out on five series yesterday, not seven. I think King looked quickly at the game book and counted the drive with the interception and the one with the field goal.

Gamebook: Patriots vs. Saints

Still impressive especially when you look at how they handled them overall and put them in so many long-yardage situations. Just a great - and much needed - win because it would have gotten ugly this week between how they're viewing Brady after the comeback vs the interception he threw. Funny how that works

Not a bad career for the one-time 7th-string Wolverines QB...

I'm less concerned about legacy and more about the here and now.

I can't help but wonder if Brady developed some confidence in his young, inexperienced receivers on that drive. Perhaps less about confidence and more about putting the ball where it needs to be with the expectation those guys can be where they are supposed to be.

All the injuries suck but this team is developing it's own gritty tough it out identity despite the lack of marquee names - on both offense and defense.

... and despite all the handwringing over when Gronkowski will play, my concern is simply to see he and the remaining players at their best health possible come the playoffs, regardless of what W/L record it takes to get there, everyone is 0-0 come the playoffs.
