It is the only way you can explain his predictions. He has the Pats winning by 4 points in a 27-23 win. The Pats are averaging giving up 14 points a game and you can argue at least half those points were garbage time points. The Bills are averaging 8.5 PPG which is the third worst in the league. One of the Bills' two TDs this season was on a punt return. Losman has a total of 251 yards and no TDs passing in his first two games. And he thinks the Bills are going to score 23 points?

I admit like in 2003 anything can happen and the Bills could catch the Pats sleeping and take one, but to go into the game expecting the Bills will score 23 points is a little out of whack considering how enemic their offense has been.

This is a classic trap game.

After steamrolling 2 opponents (including a very emotional win over one last week), they face a squad that is obviously having trouble getting things going.

But after the Kevin Everett tragedy, you can bet the Bills are going to be playing with a big emotional boost against a talented, but despised, division rival. No way they show up flat for this one.

This is not a "just show up and collect the win" kind of game. On paper, anyways, the Pats are obviously the (much) more talented team, but stranger things have happened.

We shall see if the Pats' high degree of talent, and professionalism, can carry the day for them.

FWIW, I see the Pats winning something like 30 - 20, and I foresee a "grind 'em out" kind of game.

We've played two games, there are no trends yet. 27-23 is a perfectly acceptable score to pick.
